FRONT END E-COMMERCE DEVELOPER

For our Headquarter based in Lugano (Switzerland), Philipp Plein is looking for a Front Emd e-commerce developer for projects of design, implementation and evolutive maintenance of e-commerce; passionated for technology and eagerness to innovate.

Key Responsibilities

Releasing new versions of existing online stores main pages;
Development of new landing pages based on the GUI produced by the web graphic designers; • Development of new features in existing online stores;
Integration and refactorization of existing features;
Participate in development Demandware e-commerce platform;
Implementation and customization of Demandware Cartridges for the e-commerce sites;
Maintenance of current systems;

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or similar and has at least 3-4 years' experience in the same role at a web agency or e-commerce company.
Excellent knowledge of all front-end development languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript;
Design Patterns Experience with JavaScript Frameworks and Tools (JQuery, Grunt, Sass - or Less);
3+ years of experience in JEE or PHP software development and related technologies;
3+ years of experience with Web Services (SOAP / REST / JSON);
Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Design;
Experience with CMS platforms;
Excellent knowledge of the main browsers and ability to find compatible solutions for any browser;
Good knowledge of English;
Close attention to details;
Good team working skills;
Flexibility in learning new technologies and languages independently.

Preferred skills

Experience with Demandware;
Passion for improvement and learning about new technologies and software development practices;
